Shakeology Recipes

I always make my Shakeology in a blender, and I have used an immersion blender when traveling.  You can just put the ingredients in a shaker and “shake it” up, but adding ice will make a thicker shake.  Yes, it will make a large shake, but most are only 250 calories and full of fiber, so you won’t be hungry.  And if you are on Weight Watchers, a shake is usually 3 – 4 WW points.

Chocolate Shakeology Recipes

Butterfinger Shakeology

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Chocolate Shakeology 
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk (we use sugar free, vanilla, skim milk or Soy is OK) and you can always substitute water for milk.
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free butterscotch pudding
  • 1/2 Tbsp PB2 (or 1 – 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter)
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Nuts for Chocolate 

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free pistachio pudding mix
  • 1/2 Tbsp PB2
  • 1 (100 calorie) pkg. of unsalted almonds (about 20)
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Chocolate Cake Batter

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Strawberry Shakeology Recipes

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 (on the go) packet of strawberry Crystal Light (water bottle size)
  • 2 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste).

Strawberry Lemonade

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Strawberry Shakeology
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free lemon pudding mix
  • 1 (on the go) packet of lemonade Crystal Light (water bottle size)
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Strawberry Watermelon

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Strawberry Shakeology
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sliced watermelon (more if you like)
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Strawberry Banana

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free banana pudding mix
  • 2 to 3 cups crushed ice (to your taste)

Vanilla Shakeology RecipesVanilla can be a base for any type of           Shakeology you want to make!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Vanilla Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips
  • 2 to 3 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Peach Shakeology (my husband’s favorite)

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Vanilla Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 cup sliced peaches
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 (on the go) packet of Crystal Light peach (or peach mango)
  • 2 to 3 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Orange Julius

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Vanilla Shakeology
  • 1 cup orange juice (1 use Tropicana 50)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix (optional)
  • 1 (on the go) packet of Crystal Light orange
  • 2 to 3 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Blueberry Delight

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet Vanilla Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix (optional)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 to 3 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Greenberry Shakeology Recipes (Don’t be afraid of Greenberry.  The color may scar you at first, but the recipes are very refreshing.)

Greenberry Strawberry Lemonade

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet of Greenberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice (cranberry and pomegranate work here too)
  • 1 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 (on the go) packet of Crystal Light lemonade (water bottle size)
  • 2 to 3 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Greenberry Margarita

  • 1 scoop or 1 packet of Greenberry Shakeology
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 packet of Crystal Light Lime Margarita mix (quart size powder)
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 to 2 cups of crushed ice (to your taste)

Grits and Pearls

newpicWhy Grits and Pearls?  Because those are two things most Southern girls love, yet they are both so different.

I’ve always LOVED grits, especially with cheese added!  And Shrimp and Grits is one of my favorite Southern dishes (I’ll load my recipe later).  Yet “grit” defines a person who is tough and strong, which is also much like a Southern woman.  I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 44, after 4 years and several doctors struggled with my varying symptoms and declining health.  Even though I live with this illness, those around me often forget my struggle because I know to be strong and tough in the face of adversity.

As for pearls . . . well, every Southern girl knows that pearls can make any outfit more lovely and soften our hearts.  So, hopefully, through my thoughts, and answers to your questions, I can share with you my grit and pearls of everyday life.
